In A Nutshell

The Purpose of North Center is to enable children and adults who are multiply disabled to maximize their physical, intellectual, and social skills levels. North Center educates and trains individuals in the least restrictive environment through the delivery of education, developmental training, after school activities and in-home respite services. North Center accepts individuals that are turned away from other programs without regard for age, sex, race, religion, or creed.

Because of this commitment we have traditionally tended to serve individuals who are severely and multiply disabled. Meeting the needs of this population requires a great deal of flexibility and creativity in program design. We feel that this has enabled North Center to meet the needs of many clients who would not be able to receive adequate services with other community based agencies. More

Our commitment since 1968: To assist individuals develop their full potential regardless of type or degree of disability.
